::Definitely well worth the effort to find the end of the road!

::Gorgeous area to sit and watch the ocean. For visitors, when you’re driving up to the area to walk over it will seem like you’re going onto private property, believe me you’re fine. An NPS ranger actually saw us and guided us in. When the paved road stops, keep going straight ahead in your vehicle (use an SUV or truck because it’s a bit bumpy and will need some clearance). You’ll drive onto an unpaved trail that will only fit one car, and going 5MPH will take a few minutes to get to the trailhead. You’ll approach an opening that could hold 2-4 cars and there will be some signs giving some history of the area. That is where you will park and then you walk the last 100 yards. I wore flip flops and was fine but the beach is all rocks so be careful once you’re at the water.

::Id say this is one of the most picturesque areas in American Samoa. Its a short walk to the main attraction. We parked right before the national park sign (where the paved road ends). The short unpaved road has 2 or 3 side areas where you can park and turn your vehicle around as well. We had 2 dogs accompany our short walk to the viewing area. You’ll also notice some natural arches. Must do if you’re visiting

::Great views on a short walk. Beware of the local panhandler that wants to be your tour guide.

::The parking is a little hard to get to because you have to drive on a small bumpy road to get there. Follow the parking sign arrow until you see the informational displays. You'll think you should stop, but don't. There is room to park and to turn around near the informational displays. After that, it's a short (0.1 mile) hike to the shoreline. The view from the shore is great. You can see fruit bats flying overhead.
