::It’s truly disappointing to see how far this hotel has fallen from what it once was. I stayed here in June 2025 during a short overnight layover on my way back to the States, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The entire place smelled awful, and the room was unclean; dirty, worn-out sheets and blankets, and a general lack of upkeep everywhere. It’s clear the owners are more interested in collecting money than investing in proper maintenance or renovations. If you can’t take care of the property, it might be time to shut it down. It’s a shame and a poor reflection on the island, especially for visiting tourists. 🤦🏼♂️🫣🙈

::This review is for everyone who is trying to visit American Samoa and are currently living in American Samoa who want to book a hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND SADIES BY THE SEAS. First of all Taaloga their main manager is rude and disgusting. She is very rude not only to the customers but to everyone else, she’s only nice to people who tips her and her workers. Katerina is a nice front desk lady but she gets persuaded by these house cleaners. The house cleaners led by Eseta and this one lady are full of it. First of all their rooms are old, the beds are almost broken and everything in there is old. They’re rude and they blame every broken thing in the room to the next customer. There are roaches and bugs everywhere. So, don’t go there I do not recommend - go to Tradewinds or Moanaosina or somewhere else way better than here. Rude rude, disappointed, sad that our own people would rip us off. Sad!

::I am so disappointed. The hotel is tired and in need of much attention. It has hallmarks of being a once well maintained property but those days are now long gone. Our beds were propped up with blocks of wood with metal frames exposed (a definite safety hazard), the taps had screws missing and I scratched my hand turning the tap on, the door to the balcony was operated with a spoon handle (I kid you not!), the toilet roll holder was broken, the safe did not work and the water pressure in the shower was next to non existent, making showering a real challenge. Service was terrible, save for one person who seemed genuinely pleased to see us, the staff acted as though we were an inconvenience. The food was okay, but way overpriced, recommend seeking other options. I would have provided this feedback directly but were never asked how our stay was or for any feedback, I fear they already know. I have not stayed anywhere else in American Samoa so cannot recommend anywhere else, but I would not stay here again.

::Best you’ll find in American Samoa. It’s a bit shabby but the friendly staffs, beach, views and restaurant that’s actually open more than make up for it. Great location and loved my stay there.

::The hotel is in dire need of renovations. In my opinion this is equivalent to motel 6 which is not good considering the price. The cheapest room will still run you 150 a night and certainly doesn’t feel worth it. WiFi is super slow, bathrooms are certainly ancient as well as all the appliances. Staff is super friendly though and helpful. View is excellent near a private beach plus there is a restaurant near with good food.
