::Great view from the window. A varied and delicious dinner. Especially fish. The rooms are a bit neglected, but everything is functionally there. Payment in cash. A room with an ocean view - $ 150. There is an ATM. They take a deposit of $ 100, which is not easy to return in the morning, since there is no one from the staff.

::I was very disappointed with my stay at the Maliu Mai Beach Resort. The hotel is in dire need of renovation and maintenance. The bathroom was old and filthy, with moldy tiles and rusty fixtures. The electric outlets were exposed and dangerous. The room was dusty and smelled bad. While the staff was helpful (former Miss Samoa and her boyfriend), there is only so much they could do. The beach is pretty much nonexistent as the tides have washed it away. They only accept cash, perhaps to reduce their tax liability. It was a waste of money and time to stay here. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort and cleanliness. Perhaps you just visit the restaurant, where the food looked delicious and tasty!

::Our Hawaiian Airlines flight was delayed then canceled. Brittany from Maliu Mai ended up picking us up and shuttling us from the airport. Her family had cinnamon rolls, tea and juices waiting for us at 2 am after a horrid airport wait. The rooms were very comfortable and the location itself is right on the beach. Hearing waves crashing all night was very soothing. Beautiful place and beautiful family owned Air BnB. Highly recommended. Has a great bar and pool table, too!

::Amazing and accommodating staff. Quaint family owned bed and breakfast. Bar is also well stocked with nice staff. Food was surprisingly tasty and I would be happy to drink/eat/stay here again. Britany was so sweet and helpful.

::What a wonderful place tucked away on the beach. My friend and I stayed here for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The people there treated us like family. We personally had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Vai, along with many other relatives, who made our experience even all the better. During the week it was quiet and enjoyable, and the weekend was fun as the place really livens up with live music and entertainment. There is no doubt I would stay here again whenever I find myself back in American Samoa.
