Beautiful spot! Difficult to find, but worth the trip. There is one sign by the main highway pointing to Fagatele Bay and that’s it. The trail to the bay is on private land and requires permission and a fee to enter. At the very last house along the road, there is a sign posted on a tree saying “Private property, do not enter” and another saying “Beware of Dog”. We were unsure of where to go when we saw the signs, but there was someone at the house who confirmed that is where the trail is. He was incredibly friendly and had us complete a sign-in sheet and pay $10/person, then directed us where to park. Not many people visit, so we had the whole beach to ourselves. The trail down is steep, so I would recommend good footwear for the hike in.

beautiful beach, crystal clear water, and it seems most days there’s only 1-2 visitors. go at low tide—at high tide there’s not much dry sand. the hike down is 0.75 miles, not for beginners but not especially strenuous either. park outside the house by the entrance—friendly family, they charge $10/person to enter.

Beautiful spot. It is not an easy walk to get to the beach area. It's about .9 miles. The last bit is fairly steep. The coral reefs are shallow, thus close to the surface. The tide was coming in, and the rough waters made it difficult to snorkel. I'm not sure when the best time to go is. With the wave action, it was hard to stay away from hitting the corals.

Amazing snorkeling. Short trail in, not hard (tho likely treacherous when wet). Family that owns the land is friendly and accommodating, charges $10/adult for entry. Well worth it. Bring water and snacks; reef is shallow so come at high tide to enter safely.
